Artificial Grass
Becoming more in demand for the busy house holds and pet owners who are tired of muddy, patchy grass. It is extremely important to have your artificial grass thoroughly cleaned & Sanitised on a frequent basis due to the nature of it becoming a haven for bacteria to thrive!
Artificial grass shares the same Synthetic fibres as most carpets which can hold on to the smell over time and allow nasty bacteria to grow! Imagine your pets continuously going to the toilet on your carpet day after day! As well as nature taking its course with seeds & Leaves dropping throughout the year, the pile becoming flat and generally looking untidy over time.
To keep it looking fresh we use a wide variety of equipment and licensed chemicals to ensure the odours are eliminated and not masked leaving your lawn looking, feeling and smelling as good as new.

Concrete/Render Window Ledges
The Exterior window sills/ledges are often made up from concrete or precast concrete. These sills are either rendered or coated with a material like render (Cement-based mix) to provide a smooth durable Finnish helping direct rainwater away from brickworks preventing it from seeping into the structure. Due to the nature of the surface it is very susceptible for discolouration and bacterial growth leaving unsightly stains.
Using our on board equipment we can gently lift the dirt and stains followed up by a licensed chemical application to kill off any remaining spores leaving them looking as good as new! It is very important not to use HIGH pressure, preventing the potential to cause damage to the substrate.

Gutter Clearance
Most roofs nowadays are made up of concrete tiles which were introduced back in the 1920s, becoming more popular post 2nd world war due to cost!
Why is this relevant? Well being a porous material these tiles suffer more with the growth of moss which end up washed or pecked down by birds into your gutters! We also know that birds can drop seeds which end up being washed down the roof allowing a variety of grass/weeds to grow.
This is a problem because not only does this slow/stop the drainage from the rainfall or in many cases completely block the downpipes. It can add additional weight strain and stress on the gutters themselves which can break, leak and cause damp issues in the property!
We have some of the best equipment on the market to be able to survey and see what’s going on in the gutters. Working safely from the ground, our gutter vacs can clear all the debris whether that’s above a conservatory or your typical up and over roof. Once complete we show you on camera the finished results for your piece of mind. We will only go up a ladder where 100% necessary.

Solar Panels
A serious investment for any property so why not make sure you are getting the most out of them? It is very important to maintain solar panels to keep them optimised for full potential. There are a number of areas that can affect the panels efficiency; Bird droppings will create bio-corrosive activity due to the acidity which can erode protective coatings and cause hot spotting! Bird droppings are also rich in Nitrogen which attracts the growth of stubborn Lichens, significantly reducing the efficiency and lifespan blocking the solar gain. Natural weather cycles create a favourable environment for Algae which can then be a substrate aiding the growth of the lichen. This is a natural cycle that can not be ignored or prevented however it can be minimised and maintained. Get in touch to find out how.

Window Cleaning & Conservatory Roofs
Times have changed over the years from the old traditional window cleaning with the introduction of Reach & Wash Systems. Reason…….? According to the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) The main cause of falls from height are falling from ladders!
Using our reach & wash system allows us to work safely from the ground without obstruction over conservatories and able to reach areas that traditional methods cant. Using purified water ensures a water spot free Finnish including all frames glass & Sills.

Softwashing

All types of render are susceptible to Algae, molds & moss.
This is due to the exposure in environmental conditions such as moisture, pollution & sunlight all of which contribute to organic growth.

Moss Removal & Roof Cleaning

The Big Question! Should you remove moss from your roof?……
The Short answer is yes - Moss can and should be removed from your roof.
Why?…. To prevent potential damages which are explained below;
It is natural for Moss to grow on the vast majority of properties in the UK however it is not good for your roof! Moss traps moisture like a sponge adding additional stress to the roof tiles. Over time This doesn’t allow the tiles to breath properly, creating a cold damp/wet roof that cannot dry out sufficiently. In the winter months the moisture freezes the moss which typically starts its growth in-between the gaps of tiles. Due to the expansion when freezing it can cause fractures to tiles which over time develop cracks, breakages, crumbling verges and lifted/loose ridges. Ultimately if left to deteriorate it will lead to no alternative but a New Roof!
Our Solution is to stop this process in its tracks! There are a number of methods we have available to which we offer a free survey to assess your particular property needs and all safety aspects. Call now to book your free quote.

Did you know moss is protected under plant life! As a commercial business we are required by law to remove mosses before any treatments are allowed to be applied.
